Low Voltage Track Lighting For Consuming Less Power

All low voltage track lighting fixture styles are equipped with a self contained electronic transformer that brings the line voltage to 12 volts so as to make the voltage suitable with low voltage lamps. Most of the track heads are compatible with Halo track system and most 3 wire single circuit track lighting. They offer flexible and easy to install effective track lighting in any room. These units allow configuration of a lighting system that is especially made to meet the unique requirements of individual client.

The track heads are available in a variety of styles. All low voltage tracking light heads may be ordered with an optional 18", 24", 36" or 48" extension which serves to increase the distance between the track and the head of the fixture. On a sloping ceiling, the transformer and the extension may be ordered with sloping ceiling connector.

Plug-in track lighting, a low voltage system track kit includes plug-in dish lights, 18 watt lamp and plug-in transformer with outlet for easy connection. Low profile poly carbonate disk lights can be surface mounted or recessed into walls with thickness of 3 / 4 inches. Low voltage track lights are available within $30 to $50 and compatible with Halo track and single circuit track lighting system. They can be upgraded to designer styles.

Generally halogen lamps are used with electronic low voltage transformer which is included in the kit. The ½ inch rope light track is the easiest method of mounting rope light. They are of excellent use for straight runs and under cabinet mounting. The track is made of PVC plastics and is available in 4" lengths. These units come in a variety of deep and light shades.

There is a wide variety of track lighting kits in hundreds of styles. In wire track lighting, the insulated wire is fixed by means of cable holders and straining sets. These sets allow adjustment to the tautness of the cable wire track lighting for indoor, such as ceilings and walls or for outdoor purposes.

Low voltage track lighting is versatile, futuristic and synchronizes with residential as well as commercial centers. The cables could be run around the walls and ceiling. Most of the track lights have wire connectors that supply low voltage power to the rest of the track.
